One of the highlights of the term was our school play, Oliver!. The children thoroughly enjoyed the rehearsals and showed great enthusiasm and commitment throughout the process. All of their hard work paid off in a fantastic performance, where they truly gave it their all on stage. It was wonderful to see their confidence, teamwork, and talent shine.
We also began our VEX Robotics programme, with students eagerly learning new skills and working together to design and build their robots. They are currently busy preparing for their upcoming competition in the New Year, showing great problem-solving skills and determination.
In literacy, we explored persuasive writing. The children took part in lively debates and created their own advertisements, developing strong communication skills and learning how to express and justify their opinions clearly.
Alongside this, we continued to work hard in Maths and Irish, with students making great progress across both subjects. Towards the end of the term, the children completed projects on Christmas traditions around the world, which allowed them to explore different cultures and share their learning in creative ways.
As the term comes to a close, we would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a happy New Year. We look forward to another exciting term ahead. 🎄
