Kilcornan National School celebrated Grandparents' Day as part of Catholic Schools Week. We were, once again, delighted by the large attendance of proud grandparents and great grandparents who attended. Attendees were treated to refreshments provided by our Parents' Council, traditional music from Mrs. Wixted and the senior classes and a variety of performances from each class groupings. Thank you to all teachers who prepared their classes so well for this great day. Looking forward to next year!

The boys and girls of Kilcornan National School put on a fantastic display once again at our annual Christmas show! The hard work and practice was clearly evident in the performances given by all. Pupils from Junior and Senior Infants treated the audience to their 'Whoops A Daisy Angel' nativity while 1st and 2nd Class put on an excellent production of 'Christmas with the Aliens' . The night finished in style when the senior classes provided a 'Medley of Melodies' from popular show tunes and current pop music. A big thank you to the Community Council for the use of the hall, Mike O'Connell and our hard working parents' council for the smooth running of the event. Thank you to all families and friends who supported this entertaining night
