Green Schools

The Green Schools Committee and indeed all pupils in Kilcornan National School have been working very hard on applying for our next green flag on Global Citizenship and Energy. We undertook a Junk Art Day, where every pupil made an art piece using everyday materials brought in from home. The day was thoroughly enjoyed by all pupils and the art pieces produced were of an extremely high standard!

These art pieces were displayed in the community hall during our Action Day. We were visited on this day by Sinead Mc Donnell from An Taisce who assessed the work of our green schools committee. We will be notified in due course as to whether we have received our renewal flag.
