Thank you Mrs. Wixted!

After 26 years as Principal of Kilcornan National School, Mrs. Kathleen Wixted has announced her retirement. We wish to thank Mrs. Wixted for her never-ending guidance, support, kindness and professionalism. Under her management, she has nurtured, developed and moulded Kilcornan National School into the vibrant, welcoming, ever growing school it is today. Every child under Mrs. Wixted's care and those us lucky enough to have worked with her will agree 'Ní bheidh a leithéid ann arís!'

We will be celebrating Mrs. Wixted's service to Kilcornan National School in the new academic year and all pupils (past and present), parents, community members and friends will be welcome to attend! In the meantime, have a look at our surprise guard of honour for Mrs. Wixted on her last day of school! Go n-eirí an bóthar leat Mrs. Wixted! xxx
