What a day for the O' Donoghue Cup!
Huge congratulations to all the 4th to 6th class students who participated in today's tournament! A massive thank you to Hugh Keaveney for reffing the games.
We would like to give a special shout-out to the O' Donoghue family for attending and resenting the cup and medals. It was an honour to have you there.
Well done, everyone! What a fantastic display of sportsmanship and teamwork! See our gallery for more photos!
Active Week was a blast! On Monday, we kicked things off with a marathon relay day for all classes, and the staff showed off their skills in a 3-legged race and a tug-of-war against 6th class. Tuesday was all about teamwork with cooperative games for the boys and girls. Wednesday brought the energy with box aerobics led by School Fitness Ireland. Thursday was packed with fun, as Juniors to Second Class enjoyed parachute games, while 3rd to 6th Class battled it out in a tennis tournament and the St. Brigid's soccer cup with Fr. Wrenn. We wrapped up the week on Friday with an awesome obstacle course and a visit from Paul Mc Donagh, who led some classes in fundamental movement skills. What a week! See our gallery for more photos.
Well done to our 4th and 5th Classes who took part in a football blitz in Askeaton on Thursday 17th October. Many thanks to Peter Nash for organising. Well done also to our 5th and 6th Class girls who took part in a football blitz in Rathkeale on Monday 22nd October.
Junior Infants to Fourth Class went to Mary I and had lots of fun on all of the different bouncing castles. They played lots of co-operative games together and all had a brilliant day. Fifth and Sixth Class went to Killaloe Adventure Centre for their tour where they abseiled and took part in lots of water activities. The weather was lovely and it was a thoroughly enjoyable day for all!
