Junior Infants: June Update

It has been a great few months! Juniors have been working really hard as we come to the end of our first year in school.  We are now very good at blending words and love reading our C.A.P.E.R books every night. We have finished all our numbers and recently enjoyed learning about money and how to add different coins. We are working hard on our handwriting and keep practising our pencil grip. We loved using clay for the first time in art and are very proud of the pieces we created! We continue to use our kind words, kind hands and kind feet to make our school a happy place to be!

Juniors have also enjoyed lots of extra treats this year! The pancake and smoothie morning was one of our favourites as well as Seachtain na Gaeilge, the visit from the Foynes fire brigade and the animal farm. We are also just back from our great school tour in the University of Limerick.

We are looking forward to our last few weeks in school and watching the Kelly and O’Donoghue Cup finals. Have a lovely summer break from everyone in Junior Infants!
