It has been a very busy term here in Second class. We had lots of exciting events. One of the highlight was receiving our First Holy Communion. We had a lovely mass a party afterwards. Thanks to Helen for our personalised cups and Aaron’s granny and knitting club for our dolls.
We took part in Food Dudes this term. We all made a super effort to try new fruits and vegetables. This was lots of fun.
We loved the Skip to Europe challenge. Our skipping skills improved greatly and we lost count with how many countries we made it to! We also took part in the PAWS water safety programme.
We had great fun completing the Marathon Relay. We each ran two laps. We also enjoyed a yummy ice cream after all our running efforts!
We had a great school tour day out. We went to Adventure World in U.L. This was so much fun and we did lots of activities with all our friends.
In Maths we worked very hard on problem solving and loved completing lots of open- ended tasks and comparing our solutions with the rest of the class.
In Literacy, we completed procedural writing and made a class recipe book. We all had different dishes and enjoyed reading each others.
Thank you to Catherine and Linda for all your help with us this year. We are looking forward to a well earned summer break and we cannot believe that we are going into Third class! Slán go foil!
