It’s been a very busy and exciting start to the school year in 6th Class.
We began the term by settling back into school life after the summer holidays, and everyone has adjusted wonderfully to the new routines and responsibilities that come with being the oldest pupils in the school.
One of the highlights of the term was our very successful bake sale to raise funds for our VEX Robotics programme. A huge thank you to all who baked, bought, and supported the event — your generosity and enthusiasm helped make it a great success!
During Maths Week, the class showed fantastic creativity by designing and playing their own maths-themed games. It was a fun and interactive way to celebrate maths and develop problem-solving skills together.
On the sports front, both our girls’ and boys’ football teams have enjoyed great success in their leagues, showing brilliant teamwork, determination, and school spirit. We’re so proud of all who took part!
In SESE, we’ve started work on a number of exciting projects, exploring topics across history, geography, and science. The students have shown excellent curiosity and collaboration as they dive into their research and presentations.
We’d like to wish all our pupils and families a happy and safe Halloween break — enjoy the well-deserved rest! We look forward to another busy and fun-filled half-term ahead.
Many thanks,
Mr Kavanagh
