Well Being Resources

Wellbeing and Active Week

The well being of our pupils is paramount during this difficult time. Our staff and SEN team are here to support you and your children. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any worries or questions.

The first two resources have been recommended by our school educational psychologist:

The first resource is a free well-being journal for children “At Home with Weaving Well-being” by Fiona Forman co-author of the Weaving Wellbeing Programme.  It is a free-book/download.  Fiona appeared on Ireland AM Virgin Media 1 to discuss children’s well-being during these uncertain times and she used some of the activities that are in this free journal.

The second resource - WellRead  supports emotional wellbeing and is targeted at children aged 8-12 and provides stories selected to support parents/caregivers.  Each story is designed with stopping points to encourage discussion. It was developed by Verbal Arts Centre which is a registered charity.
