6th Class December Update

What a busy and fun term we have had!

In English, we are reading the novel Holes by Louis Sachar. We are also completing lots of activities on it. We are enjoying the story of Stanley in Camp Green.

In Maths, we are enjoying our stations every Wednesday. This has made Maths and problem solving fun! Everyone loves Maths on Wednesday!!

We did lots of Christmas Art during the month of December. We loved getting creative!

In STEM, we completed the skier challenge. We planned, designed and engineered a skier that could stand on skis. This was a super fun challenge that we loved doing.

We did Secret Santa in our class again this year. We put lots of thought into our gifts and had so much fun opening our presents.

There was great excitement in our class on the 14th December, after Limerick winning the All Ireland Hurling Final. We decked ourselves in green and got a night off homework to celebrate.

We had great fun deciding on the name of our gnome. In the end we choose Bing Bong!!

We have had a great term and will be looking forward to a new year.

Wishing you a Happy Christmas and a Happy New Year!
